Dad-well I'm glad you liked the letter, sorry I sent it late...   my new comp is pretty awesome  he is 6 foot 5 Tongan!! :)   big  poly ;)   he's from Utah  he played football and basketball so we get along real good :)   he's like my body guard too he's so big.  he's the district leader and he's new to it so we are kinda learning together. I help when I can at least...  I'm glad the boys are helping you out so much and things are going good for y'all :)   glad Jax is living up to his potential.  I did not get a call from the stake pres.  what would he be calling for??   I love you too dad take care and be safe in all that you're doing.  love elder weaver

Mom-my new comp has been out for 10 months, he's from Salt Lake City. the pic would have come them the Allen's, the Sr couple in our ward.. it's fun being a district leader comp,  we are the same amount of busy  now we just have more meeting and stuff to go to sometimes. Kay is doing ok  her sore is getting bad again and she wasn't able to make it to church this Sunday but she is super excited to share the gospel with her friends and family  she has a sister who might start taking the lessons and she is thinking about sharing it with a nurse she sees a lot at the hospital. I don't know her address exactly.  if you just want to send it to me ill pass it along to her. well good for Jake!!  (a friend of his from SVU, older young man, good friend, going to Sacramento CA) for awhile he wasn't thinking about serving but now he is actually going good!! ya its pretty hot down here in GA  kinda not liking it...  ha-ha  oh well :)  I'm glad sweet Bête is still in contact with you :)   well sounds like Jax is stud :)  ha-ha  good for him  glad he is doing so well :)  our last week was good we found a lot of new people to teach and we have a lot of good things coming up in our schedule.  the work is still moving forward  things are changing for the better so we are excited about that! :)  I love you too mom and I hope you have a good week.  love elder weaver

my week was good!!   Kay did get baptized!!!!! :)   she wheeled to the edged and hopped down the stairs and my comp said the prayer and I stood on the other side closest to the glass and helped her down and up :)   is was SUCH A GOOD EXPERIENCE!!!   Wednesday we were going to see a less active and try to teach his friend who lives next to him but we couldn't find his house. so we are walking around and some people are yelling at us and we go over and see the had been drinking and were wasted and they started talking about aliens and how there is no God and how we are experiments.. so we told em we had to go to an appointment and they said to come back after so we could talk more..  we found out the other guy gave us the wrong address so we start to walk back and notice that the only way back to our next appointment is walking by drunk people again,  so we decided we didn't want to hear their alien stuff and waste our time  so we went marine status! :)   we went through some back woods on the border of a lake and walked through old run apartments and made it to our next spot safely ;)   haha it was pretty intense!!    but other than that nothing too exciting happened this week besides the baptism :)   I'm glad you are able to apply for the jobs that you did :)   I hope you date goes well for you this weekend :)   I love you bro  take care  love elder weaver

yes I got the package the office had it so no worries:)  and thank you so much for sending what you did :) well found out my new comp will be the district leader..  so that should fun hopefully...  no haven't heard any more about going out with pres.  I'm staying.  the temple was so good felt happy and peaceful! :)  yes our ward has been pretty busy with new members  we are just hoping that it will be able to support the new people we bring in.  confirmation went good!  :)   the other few days of the week we had finding days where we just went out trying to find as many new people as possible. nothing too exciting.  but read Jordan email I sent him that was exciting :) they are the senior couple in our ward :)   they are from Utah yes :)   I'm glad y'all are staying busy and things are getting better :)  that makes me glad   I love you too mom  love elder weaver

Well good Monday again!!! Loved your letter last week, especially the day by day stuff, do again :) how was MLK memorial last Monday? Any more doors answered with guns? Craziness! Glad you pray and we do too ;) I've been watching your weather, says warm with lots of thunder storms, is that what you're getting? Lots of humidity? How is Kay this week? Pretty excited for this weekend? Did you get the specifics figured out about her baptism? Hope she will let you take a picture with.... Happen to get her address? I would like to send her a card and a subscription to ensign :) we are so excited for her!  You mentioned 5 baptisms a week ago, who were they and tell us about the confirmation a little bit, will you confirm Kay also?

Dad and grandma pat got on family search last night and looked thru dads line and great grandma Ritter, lived on south Weber drive when dad was little, Ritter drive named for their family, anyways she needs temple work done and then sealing to her family, so gram pat showed him how to get cards printed and so we are going to do her work, pretty exciting!!!

So some pretty exciting news!!!! Dad wants me to type it for him.... Type faster.... They took Justin up to Weber and met with coaches, while sitting there coach Tyler Card said what was name again? They said weaver, he said did you play for SVU, in Virginia, he said no but brother Jace did, he said that's right, Jace, what's Jace doing now, said mission, what's he doing after? Running ball for SUU, he said why doesn't he come here and run for us :) he wants your film and to stay in touch, their running back graduates after this season :) soooo...fine unga has an in up there and his son Spencer walked on, so he knows the ropes.... Anyways another possibility :) what do you think? Pretty exciting huh? Options!

a man of few words but powerful!   this week was a normal week  the only new thing was Saturday we were walking from store to store contacting people and black guy comes around the corner and asks us if we are demons  we said no  we are missionaries and he said well I don't know about all that but y'all look like demons!   look at your complexion, your white and everyone knows demons is white.  so we just6 walked away.  he started yelling but we ignored him and went on with our day.  Kay had her baptism interview and passed and she has asked me to confirm here and both elder Packard and myself will be in the font when she is baptized cause she can't stand by herself too well.  so we are excited  for that.  and also this weekend we have 6 scheduled baptisms between all the companionships so it'll be good :) other than that nothing too exciting to report.  lover you dad  love elder weaver

good Monday!   the MLK thing was pretty cool but It was kinda boring...  no doors answered with guns this week. ya we pray all the time!  ya its pretty hot and humid... :/  not fun at all.. we go out with wrinkly shirts on purpose and after few min they are not wrinkly anymore...   pretty crazy..  Kay is doing awesome!!  she is so ready for this weekend and she's very excited!!!   so my comp and myself will be in the font with her elder Packard will say the prayer and we will both dunk her and bring her up again. and ill confirm her on Sunday :)  I don't know too much about the other baptized last week  other missionaries worked with them.  but the confirmation went good!   she from Africa and has an African name and that was interesting trying say...  but it all worked out and everything went good :) I haven't gotten the package yet...  ill be looking for it. I'll let you know if the right binder  thanks for sending it.   and holly cow that's super cool about dads great grandma!!!!  genealogy sounds fun!!  I wouldn't mind getting into it when I get home.  we are going to the temple tomorrow!   so pretty excited about that!!!

well hello Justin :)   Tuesday my comp went in the temple for his converts sealing and I stayed outside in the car with another missionary and made phone calls..  kinda boring but oh well. when will you hear back from the Weber coaches?  I'm glad you had good time on your dates :) and that you are dating so many people way to go. and that's awesome that he invited you to go with him to get that blessing. I hope you know you have impacted him in such a way that through your example he is striving to be a better person and he wants you to be involved. way to go buddy :) have fun in institute!   pay attention and take notes and make sure you understand what they are teaching.  cause if you don't understand you won't learn.  well thanks to you too my best friend. for being willing to be my friend and I too have learned a lot from your example so thank you Justin.  I hope you have a good week and enjoy yourself and the many things you will be involved in. love you Justin talk to you soon   love elder weaver

Exciting Times!

Pretty exciting weekend for us at home, we got to meet Carol Boles Ferguson.  She flew into Utah and stayed with her brother in Mona and we met for lunch at Thanksgiving Point....such a great lady, loved to hear her talk about Jace and to get to know her better-she has truly become one of our family! On the way home I received a call from Kay, the lady he is teaching now, she shared her feelings of gratitude for Jace and his service and she looks forward to being baptized on June 14...

So proud of you Jace and the servant that you are while on the Lord's errand!!

Mom, the family Carol told you about is the Montana's,  we would meet at their house every Sunday night and have a little meeting with new members and investigators or less actives as well and we would have gospel discussions for an hour and then have a dessert. I'm glad everything worked out for y'all to meet each other and have a good time together. yes Kay is in a wheelchair. her baptism is the 14  the Saturday before my comp goes home.  we might have to both baptize her. we are still waiting from higher ups in the mission. we should have more details next week. she is awesome. I'm very happy I had the chance to teach her and help  her in this way.  our week was good. Tuesday we went to stone mountain park and hung out there with some members for the day it was fun!! Wednesday we had distinct meeting and gospel study all that stuff went pretty good.  Thursday we knocked on a guys door and when he came out he said  oh it's just y'all, I thought it was the FBI I was going to come out shooting.  and set his gun inside the door....   that was intense.  he then went on to tell us that he didn't have time to meet with us today and said he was on his own mission, he was getting ready to go to the gym and said I can't get looking like you and he jiggled my belly......   I was ticked....   he went back inside and hasn't gotten back to us since..   oh well  we are trying.. Friday I fasted because I felt I needed to and we were giving Kay another blessing, but I realized I had more patience in all the situations we were put in and everyone we talked to would let us at least pray with them. so that was new and good. and our lesson with Kay went great!  taught about temples and family history work and she can't wait to get started on all that good stuff. Saturday was just hot and no one would open their door... yesterday was a good day had two long lost members come one we don't even have record of so we are working on that as well.  but it  was over all a good day and good week.  oh in that package could you send my work outs from Virginia.  they should be in a white binder...  please and thank you.  and I'm sending y'all a package today don't open it just has some stuff I've collected over the little time..  I love you too mom take care and I'm safe no worries..  we do hear gun shots it's a regular thing by now tho.. love elder weaver

Memorial Day

Dad, well this week in the life of elder weaver, we talked with at least 3 Jehovah witnesses a day and that is almost always a waste of time. I was invited to become Baptist cause they know the only full and right gospel to be saved.. I weigh 236 now so I'm still losing good weight.  I was able to confirm our investigator on Sunday and that was a good experience for me as it always is.  we had as guy slam his door in our faces twice  within seconds of each other.  we went and knocked on his door to pray with him and he answered and looked at our name tags and stopped us in mid sentence of introducing ourselves and said, oh sorry we have a sign at the front of our street that says no soliciting of darn maybe you should pay more attention!  and slammed his door the first time, then opened it again and said  how about you grow up a little bit and read a real book!!  it's all about science!  and slammed the door again.  after that we went and knocked the next door and no one was home.  but  2 Nephi 9 : 39  spirituality minded is life eternal"  S.M.I.L.E   all I do is smile and pray for them in secret and hope their hearts and minds will be softened..  that happens daily too.   so I can't think of anything else to tell you in the life of elder weaver.  I love you dad take care  love elder weaver   

I do remember that Jordan!  ha-ha those were some fun days!  and I think my rc car almost always won against your fort of legos and books ;)  ha-ha  take care Jordan talk to you later. 

 Justin-well I'm glad graduation went well for you my friend!! was there a lot of kids at the try outs?  what position did you go for?  was there a lot of competition for your spot?  how was the weather?  nice work on meeting with fine and I wish you the best of luck in getting in contact with the recruiting coach along with fine.  ha-ha  have fun in your physical....  awkward....  well I'm glad you're still having good fun on dates and everything like that!!  :)  way to go those were some good days as well listening to music to and from school  with the top down! :)    I love you too kiddo.  I miss you too my friend.   love elder weaver 

The camp was way good! This is Justin! It was hot!!! Ha I went for running back! There was quite a few that were trying out and a lot of comp.. But I felt good about it! There were a lot of older guys like 25 and up! Just got done with the physical.... :( :( ha-ha glad it's over

Mom, happy memorial day to you as well. our day was good.  no one wanted to talk and we couldn't even pray with people. so we were out walking and trying o do our best and we had a lot of good people interested..  but it didn't really work out in the end.  hope was y'alls day? no nothing big happened. no one invited us over for anything... wow nice bike ride!!  people have been telling us that it's a good movie... I wish we had swim days too. hahaha the work is coming  we did have a good week. nothing too big and exciting happened, but we had 5 baptisms on Saturday!  and I confirmed one of them in sacrament meeting yesterday.  Candace dropped us and so did the family of 8..  Kay is doin good she is preparing for the 14th and she is getting excited about it as well.  she said she might call y'all sometime soon  I gave her your number and the home number. her first name is Juanita  but she goes by Kay her middle name.  so be expecting that.  things with comp are alright  about the same.  yes I'm excited for new change. always am. we don't know when we go with pres we haven't heard anything.  ya we have roaches...   just snack foods I guess, if you could  thank you.  no I don't need any new garments the book where it talks about Isaiah verse by verse?  it's called Isaiah speaks to modern times.  the other book I was talking is a parallel bible, I'll send the one I have with me.  love you mom take care  love elder weaver
